CONTENT POLICY

What can go on the Wall.

The Wall is meant to be a picture of the people and companies on it. Bring a photograph, a drawing, a poster, a logo, a joke, a piece of type. The bar is simple: it has to be yours to use, and it has to be something a stranger can walk past.

Welcome here

  • Personal photographs
  • Original artwork and illustration
  • Posters and graphic design
  • Typography and lettering
  • Memes and humour
  • Product photography
  • Company logos and brand artwork
  • Screenshots of your own work
  • Abstract and generative art

You do not need to be a company. Most of the Wall will be people.

Not allowed

  • Pornography, sexually explicit imagery, or depictions of sexual acts
  • Explicit nudity intended as sexual content
  • Any sexual content involving minors, or any sexual exploitation
  • Graphic gore
  • Hateful imagery, extremist or terrorist propaganda
  • Anything illegal
  • Scams, phishing, malicious links or deceptive QR codes
  • Impersonation of a person or organisation
  • Content that infringes someone else's intellectual property
  • Anything else that breaks our Terms

Sexual content involving minors is reported to the relevant authorities and the account and order are terminated. There is no appeal for this category.

How review works

  1. 01
You upload. Your image is stored privately. It is not on the Wall yet.
  2. 02
We check the file. Format, size and dimensions are verified from the file itself.
  3. 03
An automated screen runs. It looks for the categories listed above.
  4. 04
A person reviews it. Every upload gets human eyes before publication. If the automated screen was unsure, it is looked at more closely, not waved through.
  5. 05
It goes live, or it doesn't. Either way you get an email.

Nothing is published automatically. If a check cannot be completed, your upload waits for a person rather than going straight to the Wall.

Your rights in your work

You keep the copyright in whatever you upload. Nothing here transfers ownership of your work to Gigantic Wall.

By uploading, you grant us only the licence we need to show your image on the Wall and on your space's page, and to produce the resized versions required to display it at different zoom levels. That licence exists so the Wall can function, and for no other purpose.

You confirm at upload time that the content is yours or that you have permission to display it. If you upload something you do not have the rights to, we may remove it.

If your image is rejected

You can upload a different image against the same space. Your purchase is not lost because a particular image did not pass.

We keep rejection reasons general on purpose. Publishing the exact detection that triggered a rejection would tell someone how to get around it.

Removal after publication

A space is permanent. The image in it is not immune from review. We may remove or suspend an image after it has gone live if it turns out to break this policy, if a valid intellectual-property complaint is made, or if we are legally required to.

Where an image is removed for a policy breach, the space stays yours and you may upload a replacement subject to moderation. Removals for policy violations do not qualify for any refund or financial compensation.

Reporting something

If you see something on the Wall that breaks this policy, or that uses your work without permission, emailhello@ritik.co.in with the space ID. Space IDs look like WALL-184021 and appear on every space's page.
